CTL Distribution, Mulberry, Fla., has upped the pay for its company drivers.

Solo driver pay has been raised 4 cents per mile. Other parts of the pay package, such as layover pay, referral bonuses, detention pay and other areas, have also been improved.
"We certainly couldn't provide the customer service that we are known for without top drivers, so we want them to know how much we appreciate them," said Ken Wieck, director of human resources.
CTL is a division of Florida-based Comcar Industries, the nation's third-largest privately held truckload carrier. CTL specializes in chemical transportation.
