Old Dominion Freight Line, High Point, N.C., is planning to move its corporate headquarters to Thomasville, N.C., so its central office can have more space.

According to the Associated Press, the move is expected to be completed by the end of next summer, and will more than double headquarters space for the freight carrier to 162,000 square feet.
Old Dominion has called High Point its corporate home for 41 years and has been at its current headquarters building since the late 1970s. Old Dominion is also expected to move a hub from High Point to Greensboro next year.
All 325 employees who work in the headquarters are expected to stay with the company.
