CFI, Joplin, MO, has selected Don Baker as its 1997 Driver of the Year. Recognized for his professionalism, superior performance and outstanding driving skills, Baker has driven for CFI for 11 years and has logged more than 1.1 million safe miles.
A resident of Carthage, MO, Baker received more than $2,000 in cash and prizes, along with the use of a 1998 Kenworth T2000 tractor in honor of his achievement. Baker offers this advice to other drivers: “Keep a positive attitude and enjoy what you’re doing. By doing that, it makes everything else come out right.”
