Viking Freight, an LTL carrier based in San Jose, Calif., will put into effect a general rate increase of 5.9 percent on Oct. 2.
The increase will apply to Viking's intra- and interstate traffic, including transborder shipping services to Canada and Mexico, as well as to minimum and accessorial charges. Price adjustments will be made to selected lanes and service areas.
