Rebuilding on the Pennsylvania Turnpike is scheduled between mileposts 85 and 94, including "Rattlesnake Mountain," on Chestnut Ridge in the summer of 2001.

To help out with increased truck traffic on mountain grades at I-76 and I-70, a third lane will be added to more than six miles of the eastbound side. According to a turnpike spokesperson, the project should be complete by December 2003.
