Daylight Transport, a Long Beach, Calif.-based LTL carrier, will be opening new lanes and expanding regional services from the Northeast states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island to the Southern states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Company officials say the new services will be available beginning Sept. 5.
The service will be one-way only from Massachusetts and Rhode Island into the South, with transit times being only three days between most metro markets.
