The 22nd annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree kicks off tomorrow at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, Exit 284 off I-80 in Walcott, Iowa.

Contestants in the Super Truck Beauty Contest area already on site, primping and polishing their rigs for the judging that starts at 10 a.m. Thursday.
In addition to the beauty contest contestants, visitors can view more than 150 antique trucks on display and visit more than 175 exhibits under the big tent during the two-day show. There will be trucker games, such as musical hay bales and a balloon toss; carnival games; live country music; a trucker fashion show; and those famous thick Iowa pork chops.
Parking and admission are free. More than 30,000 people attended the jamboree last year. With a weather forecast of partly cloudy and highs in the mid- to upper 80s, organizers are expecting a big crowd again this year.
