The International Trucking Show begins today in Las Vegas and will feature, among other events, a free concert by country music star Clint Black.
The event, scheduled for June 28, 29 and 30 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will feature a record-breaking 700 exhibitors and is expected to draw 35,000 visitors. Admission to the event is free, and show hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.

There is free big rig parking on site. Free shuttle service is offered to the show from local hotels and four area truckstops: the T/A at Exit 33 on Interstate 15, the Wild Wild West at Exit 37 on I-15, the Flying J at Exit 46 on I-15, and the Pilot at Exit 48 on I-15.
The Clint Black concert, sponsored by Volvo, will be held Thursday, June 29; tickets are limited and are available at the Volvo booth, No. 713. Volvo is also hosting a free Trucker’s Appreciation Bar-B-Que Wednesday, June 28, 2000, 4:30 to 6 p.m.
The Show and Shine Truck Beauty Contest, sponsored by the California Trucking Association, kicked off yesterday with a parade down the Las Vegas Strip. Prizes will be awarded Friday at noon.
The ITS Gift Corral will host daily drawings for big prizes, including a pickup given away each day courtesy of the California Trucking Association and two Two Richard Petty "Rookie" Driving Experience Packages each day.
Show attendees will also be able to check out various products, demonstrations and conferences. J.J. Keller is hosting an expanded lineup of seminars this year, and the California Trucking Association is hosting two "town hall" meetings, one on NAFTA and one on hours of service.
