Cardinal Freight Carriers is giving all new and existing drivers and owner-operators in its van division an across-the-board pay increase.
Beginning July 3, Cardinal’s company drivers will be getting what Cardinal calls a "notable" raise, while owner-operator compensation will increase to 84 cents per mile.
The Concord, N.C.-based company will also implement a new program called "Super Driver," where drivers new to Cardinal who have 10 or more years of experience with one company can qualify for full and immediate employee benefits.
