USF Holland, Holland, MI, has opened a new full-service terminal in Erie, PA, which will reportedly increase capacity, operating efficiency and equipment availability within the market.
"We are committed to providing our Erie customers with the most extensive next-day service available," says Scott Shaffer, Erie terminal manager. "The new facility located on Hirtzel Road in nearby North East, Pennsylvania, will have 40 dock doors on a 20-acre plot that has plenty of room for expansion."
In addition, the company has relocated four of its major metro service centers to new facilities. The relocations will increase capacity by over 80% in the combined markets. The new centers are now located at: Indianapolis Service Center, 747 Commerce Parkway East Drive in Greenwood, IN; Louisville Service Center, 4885 Keystone Industrial Boulevard in Jeffersonville, IN; Columbus Service Center, 4800 Journal Street in Columbus, OH; and Nashville Service Center, 500 Oakbluff Lane in Nashville, TN.
