NATSO, the organization representing truckstop and travel plaza operators, will hold its 40th annual convention Feb. 3-5 at the Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.

Fred Thompson, U.S. Senator from Tennessee, will be the keynote speaker. The Change of Command ceremony will install Jim Cardwell, vice president of Petro Stopping Centers, as the new chairman of NATSO, replacing Pilot's Bill Haslam.
The convention will include more than 20 "NATSO University" seminars, covering topics such as new technology, marketing your web site, building a positive image, preventing employee theft, maximizing your buffet, repair facilities, economic forecast of the truckstop industry, and what new hours of service rules could mean to truckstops.
