Four more major North American fleets have added the Eaton Vorad Collision Warning System to their trucks. This makes more than 10,000 Eaton Vorad units in service in North America.

Fleetmaster Express, Roanoke, VA, has ordered 65 units as part of a new Freightliner Century Class truck order. The company has been evaluating 10 Vorad units during the year, and the positive results have prompted the company to make it a standard company spec.
Transport Besner of Quebec City has also ordered 65 new Eaton Vorad systems. The latest order means every one of its 225 trucks now has the collision warning system.
Baylor Trucking of Milan, IN, has taken delivery of five units, and plans to order another 10 to 15 later this year with the delivery of new Freightliner Century Class trucks.
The fourth fleet to make a commitment to the warning systems is Global Forwarding in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. With the recent delivery of 40 new units, the entire fleet is now outfitted with Vorad collision warning. Another 70 vehicles to be delivered this year will all have it, as well.
