Founder Clarence Werner's next goal is to make that $2 billion in annual revenue within the next five years. Werner started the company with one truck in 1956.
The company, which ranks third in revenue among the nation's truckload carriers, has 6,800 trucks serving five divisions. It has plans to more than double its Omaha headquarters. A $10 million, 150,000-square-foot building is scheduled to be completed by early August.
