Roadway Express Expands E-Commerce

Customers of Roadway Express now can request a shipment pickup from the convenience of their computer. The company’s new online shipment pickup request service is available to U.S. shippers 24 hours a day via the company’s web site at http://www.roadway.com.
With a single click on the Customer Tools menu, shippers retrieve a simple pickup request form to complete online. A click on the submit button enters the request into Roadway’s system within seconds.
Other information Roadway offers through its Customer Tools menu includes real-time shipment tracking and status reports, access to rate quotes and routing information, instant retrieval of proof-of-delivery documents, cargo claim status reports, and the location of the nearest Roadway service center.
