Penske Truck Rental donated $318,118 to the Paralyzed Veterans of America at the charity’s offices in Washington D.C. The funds were raised during Penkse’s #OneWay4PVA campaign for paralyzed veterans.

J.B. Hunt Commits To Hiring 10,000 Vets By 2020

J.B. Hunt Transport announced a company-wide initiative to hire 10,000 U.S. military veterans by the year 2020. The company was recently recognized for the ninth straight year as a Top 100 Military Friendly Employer by G.I. Jobs, ranking as the third most military friendly employer in the transportation industry.

ATA Commits to Hiring 100,000 Veterans

The American Trucking Associations announced on Tuesday it is committing on behalf of the trucking industry and its members to hire 100,000 veterans as part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Hiring 500,000 Heroes campaign.

In the past two years, 34 states have adopted laws that allow motor vehicle departments to waive the CDL skills test for qualified military veterans, the Obama administration says in a new report.
