USPS to Rent Cargo Vans to Fill Delivery Gaps

The U.S. Postal Service has asked companies to submit proposals for a rental contract for cargo vans to "fill in for vehicles out of service," according to a solicitation posted to FedBizOpps.gov.

USPS Begins Same-Day Grocery Delivery

The U.S. Postal Service has begun delivering bottled water, fresh fish, and electronics in New York City as it begins a shift toward same-day delivery to compete with FedEx, UPS, and Amazon.com.

Postal Service Seeking Next-Gen Delivery Vehicle

The U.S. Postal Service will meet with automotive manufacturers in Washington, D.C., this week to field questions about its proposal to replace its aging delivery fleet with a next-generation vehicle, according to federal records.
