The private operator of the Indiana Toll Road has filed for bankruptcy reorganization, following a deal several years ago in which a consortium of Spanish and Australian investors leased the route from the state of Indiana.

All-Electronic Tolling Coming to N.Y. Thruway

Kapsch TrafficCom has received notice to proceed from the New York State Thruway Authority to develop, install and provide technical support for an all-electronic tolling system. This new system eliminates the need for Thruway drivers to stop or slow down at tolling points.

Colorado Adding Temporary Express Lanes to Crowded Part of I-70

The Colorado Department of Transportation has started work on the Eastbound I-70 Peak Period Shoulder Lane project creating temporary eastbound express lane between Idaho Springs and Empire, but commercial trucks will not be able to use them.
