Life After New Century Transportation Closing, Bankruptcy

Truck drivers for New Century Transportation are reportedly interviewing for new jobs at the company’s New Jersey terminal, while other carriers are moving freight left in the fleet’s system and a lawsuit has been filed, following the fleet's closure earlier this week and filing for bankruptcy liquidation.

Bankruptcy Court Approves Sale of Vehicle Hauler Allied to Jack Cooper Transport

A U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge in Delaware has given vehicle hauler Allied Systems Holdings the go-ahead to sell most of its assets to a rival auto transporter for $135 million.
