Suspension maker Reyco Granning has hired Christopher Hughes as the company’s vice president of finance.

Prior to joining Reyco Granning, Hughes served as the chief financial officer at Builders Firstsource as well as Reliant Worldwide Plastics. In addition, he was the vice president of operations for Smith System Manufacturing Company. Hughes has 24 years’ experience in manufacturing, having started his career in 1994 at Armstrong/Triangle Pacific Corp as an audit supervisor and rising to the position of group controller.

“Christopher’s extensive experience in process generation and best practices that improve profitability and cost control is an asset to Reyco Granning,” said John Stuart, Reyco Granning president. “We will rely heavily on him as we continue to strengthen our organization as a customized suspension system solution provider for the industry.”

Hughes replaced Tracy Carll in the new role and Carll was promoted to her new position as vice president of supply chain & IT.
