Truck component supplier Consolidated Metco has named Beto Dantas as its new vice president of marketing, strategy, and innovation, the company announced.

In his new role, Dantas will analyze and implement new business opportunities that align with ConMet’s business strategy. He is also tasked with providing direct oversight of the marketing team and with providing leadership and insight to ConMet’s innovation initiative.

"His experience connecting innovative solutions to meet customer needs is an excellent fit for our organization,” said Mike Swiderski, ConMet president. “I look forward to Beto and the ConMet team working with our customers to create additional value for both of us.”

Before joining ConMet, Dantas spent nearly a decade in business development, strategy and innovation leadership roles at Flextronics International, an electronics manufacturing services provider. Dantas holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Oregon State University.
