Kenworth named MHC Kenworth - Colorado the 2014 Kenworth Dealer of the Year Award and MHC Kenworth - Kansas City the 2014 PACCAR Engine Dealer of the Year at the Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in Phoenix, Ariz.
This is the second time in 4 years that MHC Kenworth - Colorado has won dealer of the year, also winning in 2010.
MHC Kenworth - Colorado is made up of several locations including Colorado Springs, Denver, Grand Junction, Greely, Pueblo, and Cheyenne, Wyo. Colorado was selected as the Dealer of the Year from a group of Kenworth’s six Gold Award winners for 2014.
“MHC Kenworth - Colorado achieved excellent Kenworth 1680, T880, PACCAR MX-13 engine and medium duty cabover sales and attained impressive market share in heavy- and medium-duty trucks,” said Preston Feight, general manager at Kenworth and PACCAR vice president. “Congratulations to the world’s best dealer for 2014.”
With its latest win, MHC Kenworth - Kansas City has been named the Engine Dealer of the Year three times in four years.
MHC Kenworth CEO Tim Murphy called the efforts of the Kansas City dealership a tremendous accomplishment. The dealer was recognized for selling more than 50% of their Kenworth Class 8 trucks in 2014 with a PACCAR MX-13 engine, as well as for its 24/7 service hours and inventory of MX-13 parts.
“MHC Kenworth - Kansas City is the Kenworth dealer network leader in making the PACCAR MX-13 the engine of choice for many of our customers,” said Feight.
MHC Kenworth operates 60 Kenworth Dealerships in 13 states. Included in the other winners from dealer meeting were MHC Kenworth - Kansas City for the PACCAR Engine Dealer of the Year and Rihm Kenworth for the Medium-Duty Dealer of the Year.
