Jim Redwine, owner of Redwine’s Garage and Parts Sale, was presented with the 2013 HDA Truck Pride Truck Service Expert of the Year Award.

The award was presented during the HDATP Annual Meeting in Phoenix. Every year, HDA Truck Pride recognizes one Truck Service Expert as the best of the best.

In 1973, Redwine rented a one bay garage with no heat, a single light and no air compressor to begin his venture into doing what he knew best: fixing trucks. 42 years later, Redwine now has 2 locations, 18 technicians, 6 double bays, 5 single bays and 5 road service vehicles. Redwine’s Garage and Parts offers complete truck and trailer repair with state-of-the-art test equipment.

Focusing his business on the needs of the traveling trucker, Redwine has operated under the principle “if you’re standing still, you’re really moving backwards”. Redwine still enjoys working on trucks, making road calls, and helping someone get back on the road. Jim’s employees help him reach his goal and vision of what Redwine’s Garage and Parts should be.

Redwine’s Garage and Parts joined the HDA Truck Pride Truck Service Experts program in 2011. The program provides Redwine’s with a national identity, training and relationships with vendors through their partnership with Stone Truck Parts. Redwine’s Garage and Parts has done everything HDATP has asked of them; from extraordinary signage that promotes the HDA Truck Pride identity in their community to participation in all aspects of training, Business Development Training, as well as technical training. HDA Truck Pride is proud to recognize Redwine’s Garage and Parts as the 2013 Truck Service Expert of the Year.
