EnPro Industries announced that Jon Cox, currently president, Stemco, has been named EnPro chief innovation officer effective April 1. Cox will maintain his responsibilities leading Stemco as group president, but will also be responsible for driving innovation across all EnPro operations. He will relocate to Charlotte, N.C., over the coming months. Todd Anderson will replace Jon Cox as president, Stemco in Longview, Texas.

Cox joined Stemco in 1996 as vice president of engineering and then joined EnPro’s Garlock Sealing Technologies unit in 1999 as vice president of engineering. He was later promoted to vice president and general manager of Garlock Klozure Dynamic Seals. In 2008, Cox returned to Stemco as president.

Todd Anderson has been promoted to president of Stemco. Anderson had been with Stemco from 1994 to 2011 as a key contributor in engineering, operations and as vice president and general manager of the Stemco Kaiser suspension business. 

He served most recently as vice president of EnPro’s Garlock Pipeline Technologies Division for the past three years. Anderson began his career at Stemco and held roles of increasing responsibility in engineering and operations.
