Combining global-positioning-satellite and cellular-phone technologies, the systems are designed to give vehicles, trailers and drivers 24-hour monitoring, protection and assistance. Alarms are sent to a monitoring station in the event of theft, breakdown or medical emergency. Monitoring services for the Pegasus and Orion systems are provided by Rollins Protective Services. RoadTrac also sells monitoring software to commercial users, which offers the option of monitoring your own fleet.
