In an attempt to offer training to its members on a more timely basis, the National Truck Equipment Association has contracted with a web-based training system company to launch an Internet training site.

The NTEA, with 15,000 members, has hired Knowledge Anywhere to create an online learning site to help the organizers meet specific training requirements for the truck equipment industry.
“With a membership throughout North American it was becoming increasingly difficult and expensive to provide up-to-date training to our members,” said Russ Dore, NTEA corporate training director. “Offering online educational services is a great way for us to provide added value to our members.”
The NTEA training web site serves members in manufacturing and distribution, engineering and sales, providing a basic overview of the industry and equipment.
