John O’Hearn has been named as The National Association of Independent Truckers (NAIT) 1997 Member of the Year.
Since 1991, O’Hearn has been leased to Bulk Transportation of Walnut, CA. Excellent driving, safety records, financial aptitude and responsibility to his customers are the keys to O’Hearn’s success.
O’Hearn has a flawless driving record — he drives approximately 125,000 miles a year and remains accident-free. In 1996, O’Hearn was awarded Bulk’s Owner/Operator of the Year. The award’s requirements are to be free of accidents, incidents, tickets, log violations, injuries and customer complaints.
“John’s dedication to his customers, to the industry and to himself make him a perfect match for our award,” said Teresa Brimacombe, NAIT president.
O’Hearn will receive free NAIT membership for a year, Airborne Express and UPS overnight envelopes, six months of free AT&T Wireless paging services, and gift certificates from Truckstops of America, Flying J, Petro, and NAIT merchandise.
