Pegasus Imaging Corp. has introduced Transflo, a document management system designed to streamline the billing process, improve customer service and facilitate driver qualifications for LTL and truckload carriers. The product includes rendition billing, workflow, fax in/fax out, host interface and integrated cold.
Transflow can also include a remote imaging system to provide local scanning and retrieval and connection to the corporate database. System consists of Transflo imaging software, a Canon scanner and a PC running Windows 95 with a fax card, printer and tape backup. System provides local hard drive storage for up to six months with optional, long-term storage on optical platter or CD. Agents can transmit images and indexes to the corporate office via Internet FTP services or frame relay, eliminating mailing or faxing of information.
