Chevron is joining 1-800-Drivers in its attempt to attract new drivers to the trucking industry. The company has announced it will sponsor the 24-hour jobline, which provides information on thousands of jobs for drivers.
By calling 1-800-Drivers, truckers can register with a variety of motor carriers at no cost. The Jobline can also locate jobs by a variety of criteria such as area, type of position and type of equipment. Drivers can choose the interactive matching process or select companies from a directory listing.
The line also features product information and dealer locations for Chevron Delo 400 Multi-Grade Motor Oil. In addition, the 1-800-Drivers Internet site, located at http://rwa.metronetworks.com/800drivers.html, features links to member trucking companies, on-line job application forms, road reports from 1-800-Drivers producer Road Watch America, and employment opportunities.
