Abbot Enterprises has acquired the AutoMate Fleet Management System product line from TeamNet Inc.
The AutoMate is an on-board computer system that records total mileage, trip dist
ance, start and stop time, along with peak speed. Information is retrieved with a memory card that can be inserted into a computer port to download data.
The AutoMate is said to give Abbott a complete line of vehicle recording monitoring devices, which also includes the Atrol II Activity Recorder and the Abbott Tachograph.
