He has served with the Interstate Commerce Commission, the American Trucking Associations, and the National Private Truck Council, among others. Hirsch is currently with Jackson, Lewis, Schnitzler & Krupman, a law firm representing management in labor and employment law matters.
Before entering private practice, Hirsch served for five years as general counsel and director of regulatory affairs for the NPTC. He also spent nine years as associate general counsel for the ATA. In public service, he worked as a trial attorney in the Bureau of Investigations and Enforcement at the ICC.
