Dart Transit, the truckload carrier of St. Paul, Minn., will implement OptiStop fuel and routing optimization software from Logistics.com of Burlington, Mass.

According to Logistics.com, Dart will use OptiStop to generate optimal routes and fueling stop recommendations. Logistics.com estimates that with 2,200 contracted tractors, Dart will save approximately $1,000 annually per tractor for an approximate annual savings of $2.2 million.
Logistics.com provides optimization software for carriers and shippers. It also operates a transportation marketplace on the Web at www.logistics.com.
