Michelin North America, Greenville, SC, has created the Truck Service Network, a new dealer certification program. The network will evaluate Michelin dealers’ points of sale and rate those locations that meet
specific criteria, including: availability of service, ready availability of new tires and retreads, accessibility of mounting,
balancing and repair equipment and trained service personnel.
Qualifying dealers will be given a one-, two-or three-star rating. In addition to providing improved benefits to fleets and owner-operators, the program will also benefit dealers though point-of-sale certification signage, priority for emergency road service calls and Michelin-funded training for qualified service personnel.
