International Truck and Engine Corp. is making it easier for customers to find the right truck with a new truck locator on its web site at www.InternationalDelivers.com.
The new feature lets customers scan International's entire dealer network for available trucks by state or province across the United States and Canada. You simply punch in your desired specs, the state or province you would like to search, and your ZIP code. The locator provides a lit of the International trucks that meet those specs and the contact information for the local dealer.
Purchase transactions will take place at the dealer. "We have no plans to sell trucks directly over the Internet and sell around our dealers," said Steve Keate, president of International's Truck Group. "This is about leveraging our dealer network, the biggest and the best in the industry. "It's another way we hope to assist our dealer body in finding ways to utilize technology for customer value."
The web site uses the same inventory system as the dealer network, meaning customers will have access to the most current product availability information in real time.
