ABF Freight Systems has added several new e-commerce tools to its web site at < href="http://www.abfs.com">www.abfs.com.

Shipment Planner lets customers view and manage their shipments online using a simple calendar interface. Shipments appear on the calendar by pickup date, due/delivery date or appointment date, as selected by the customer. Customers can choose the types of shipment at the shipment information to be displayed. The items displayed on the calendar are hyperlinked to additional shipment detail. Shipment Planner is an enhancement to the previously released myABF at myABF.com, which allows customers to create a personalized web page to simplify Internet navigation.
Another addition is Dynamic Rerouting, which lets customers change the destination point of an in-transit shipment at ABF's web site. Shipments en route can also be recalled and returned to the origin. ABF's internal systems automatically issue the rerouting systems to the proper ABF facility based on the current location of the shipment.
Customers also now have the option of receiving their ABF freight invoice by e-mail. The also can file cargo claims and upload supporting documents via the ABF web site.
