Marvin Gordon, a longtime force in the used truck industry, has been honored by the Used Truck Assn. for his numerous and significant contributions to that marketplace. He is the first recipient of an award named after himself: the Marvin F. Gordon Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award was created and sponsored by UTA to commemorate Gordon's extraordinary accomplishments and to recognize his lifetime achievement in the used truck industry. The UTA is a service-oriented, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting those involved with the used truck industry.
Gordon was presented with his honor during an award luncheon at this year's Truck Blue Book Used Truck Seminar, held last week in Nashville, TN.
Gordon's many achievements during his 30 years in the used truck industry include founding UTA's predecessor, the Used Truck Sales Network, and creating the annual Used Truck Seminar.
The Marvin F. Gordon Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented annually, provided there is qualified candidate.
