Truck Net Inc., which has a popular trucking-related web site, has formed a strategic alliance with a company that makes public-access Internet devices or kiosks.

The alliance will allow truckers to access Truck Net services on VideoNET terminals in truckstops, travel plazas and convenience stores. VideoNET kiosks are produced by National Electronic Technologies of Rothesay, New Brunswick, Canada.
Craig Zwiener, president of Truck Net, predicts that in the near future, drivers will be able to accomplish multiple business and financial tasks in one single electronic transaction via VideoNET terminals.
Truck Net (http://www.truck.net) offers a driver’s round table bulletin board, load-matching, and a number of trucking resources.
