Replacement Truck Tire Demand Doubles

In 2014, the average price of a retreaded truck tire was $237.48. The average price of a new tire was $381.50. Graphic via MTD.

Compared with 2013, truck tire shipments in 2014 were up 1.6 million units, while the number of retreaded tires was up 800,000 units.
