Navistar CFO Departing After Less Than Four Years

A.J. Cederoth has served as Navistar's CFO since September 2009.

Navistar International announced that Andrew J. (A.J.) Cederoth, the company's executive vice president and chief financial officer, will be leaving at the end of the month as part of a planned transition to a new CFO.

Navistar Reports 2Q Loss of $374 Million, Strong Increase in May Orders

Navistar International Corp. announced a second quarter net loss of $374 million, or $4.65 per diluted share, compared to a second quarter 2012 net loss of $172 million, or $2.50 per diluted share. At the same time, it said it has seen a strong increase in May Class 8 orders and announced it will start adding SCR aftertreatment to its medium-duty trucks.

Navistar Reports $2.8 billion Fourth Quarter Loss

The first ProStar equipped with the Cummins ISX15 with selective catalytic reduction rolled off the production line last month.

Navistar International reported a worse fourth-quarter loss than expected, thanks in part to a spike in warranty costs along with the weakened truck demand affecting all truck makers. The Lisle, Ill.-based truck and engine maker reported a fourth quarter 2012 net loss of $2.8 billion, or $40.13 per diluted share, compared to fourth quarter 2011 net income of $255 million, or $3.48 per diluted share.
