Fourth Lawsuit Filed In Past Week Against Navistar Over International Engines

UPDATED -- The complaint alleges that Navistar actively concealed that its 2008-2013 model trucks, equipped with the MaxxForce Advanced exhaust gas recirculation diesel engines, contained a defective emission system that caused the trucks to suddenly break down.

Mack Trucks is recalling a little more than 44,000 trucks due to a possible failure of the hazard warning lights. International ProStar, TerraStar Win Truck of the Year Awards

ProStar

Navistar International won both categories in the American Truck Dealers’ 2014 Commercial Truck of the Year competition with its ProStar heavy duty and TerraStar medium-duty models. ATD announced the winners at a lunch on Sunday, during its joint annual convention with the National Automobile Dealers Association in New Orleans. The trucks were among three heavy and four medium-duty models submitted by manufacturers for judging last fall.
