Dana Merges with UK Automotive Supplier

Dana Inc. has signed an agreement to merge with the Driveline division of UK-based automotive system supplier GKN plc to create Dana plc, a global provider of driveline systems, in a move that will position it for the vehicle electrification market.

Aftermarket Sales Will Remain Soft in the Near Term

Commercial Motor Vehicle Consulting's CV Parts Aftermarket Leading Indicator decreased 0.2% in November to 100.82 following 0.3% decrease in October. The downturn in PLI is moderating and appears to bottoming out as the slowing of fleet cyclical factors has abated and some factors, such as industrial production, have recently moderately accelerated.
