Trucking fitness personality and fitness coach at Prime, Siphiwe Baleka, has launched the Active Trucker fitness program for Android and iOS mobile devices.

The Active Trucker program is a driver-specific exercise program that features 15-minute exercises that drivers can do each day to help them get in better shape. The program is divided into two units: Active Trucker Phase 1 and Active Trucker Phase 2. Each of the workouts are 15 minutes or less.

Phase 1 is for truckers who are just getting started and is designed to help them establish a baseline of fitness. The exercises are less complex and do not require advanced movements or high levels of balance. Phase 1 begins with walking and builds from there, introducing users to 10 basic exercises that hit many of the major muscle groups.

Phase 2 workouts are more complex and build off of the 10 exercises introduced in Phase 1.

Drivers can add each other, their family, and friends on the app and post when they’ve completed a workout. The post will be viewable by the people that the driver has added and they can leave comments and words of encouragement.

The phases are an extension of the Workout Trainer health app program, available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Active trucker Phase 1 and Active Trucker Phase 2 are $29.99 each.
