The trucking company CalArk said it will raise pay for drivers in just less than a couple of weeks.

The Arkansas-based operation will increase it three cents per mile on Dec. 2 for all company drivers. All company drivers will also be eligible for a bonus of two cents per mile when driving more than 11.250 miles per month.

Teams are also eligible, but must drive 19,200 miles per month. An announcement on the company’s web site does not say whether all such miles must be dispatched miles.

CalArk also announced starting Jan. 1 it will offer major medical insurance coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield, including prescription coverage, for $45 per week.
