A new report shows pump prices for diesel exhaust fluid have remained stable for several months.

According to DEF Tracker it averaged $2.79 per gallon in June, the same level it has been since last November. The Canadian price is 80 cents per liter, the same level since October 2011.

Prices for refillable DEF totes fell in the U.S. by one cent between May and June.

Tampa, Fla., and Toronto, Ontario, posted the highest average prices for 2.5-gallon jugs.

"Truckstop chains have invested in a massive nationwide pump infrastructure for DEF," says Christopher Goodfellow, market analyst at Integer Research, publisher of DEF Tracker. "Pilot Flying J and Love's Travel Stops, the two biggest retailers in terms of location numbers, expect to offer DEF at every location in the next six months."

Just under 50 new truckstop locations were added to the DEF bulk network in June, approximately half of them by Pilot Flying J.
