The Colorado State Patrol has launched a special website for truck drivers with a wide range of information about the state’s portion of Interstate 70.

TruckI70.com, which is also mobile phone friendly, has the latest information on road conditions, safe parking and chain-up locations for the mountain corridor, as well as a video on laws for commercial vehicles and motor carrier safety trips.

There is also information about chain requirements, which are in effect through May 31, requiring them to be on-board all commercial vehicles along I-70 between mile markers 133 and 259.

“Commercial motor vehicles driving along the I-70 corridor face numerous challenges,” said CSP commander Capt. Tim Keeton. “To make it easy and quickly accessible for truckers to find the latest information on road conditions, especially when inclement weather is an issue, we developed the website."
