In addition, 14 LMTS employees shaved their heads in support of St. Baldrick's. Eleven employees are located at the headquarters in Raleigh, N.C., two employees in Nogales, Ariz., and one employee in Visalia, Calif.

At this year's St. Baldrick's event, "we shaved somewhere around 130 heads and raised over $75,000 for pediatric cancer research," says Rob Baker, event coordinator for St. Baldrick's. "Of the 55 events in N.C. this year, our Clayton event is the fourth largest. As a parent of a childhood cancer survivor, I can tell you that I am overwhelmed by the support and generosity."

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers. More info can be found at their site, stbaldricks.com.
