Evans Distribution Systems, a third-party logistics provider of warehousing, transportation and value-added solutions, has expanded with new operations in Kenosha, Wis., Twinsburg and Toledo, Ohio, and Denver and Aurora, Colo.

Evans is working with a national trucking company overseeing the labor and processes of two automotive crossdock operations in Colorado. As a result of these new operations, Evans has added approximately 25 new associates including material handlers and managers.

The Michigan-based company is also providing switching and yard management services for an automotive client at several assembly plants. To support this new business, Evans hired 16 employees who will serve as drivers and managers.

"We're happy to provide this supply chain expertise wherever our clients need us, and this regional assistance in Colorado is another way we provide flexible and agile support," said Leslie Ajlouny, vice president of business development at Evans Distribution Systems. "Whether it's enhancing the solutions of an automaker's third-party logistics provider or working directing with a company to reduce their operational costs, we're here to create more efficient operations and simplify the supply chain."
