CalArk International, Little Rock, Ark., recently opened its newest terminal in Taylor, Mich., approximately 18 miles southwest of Detroit.

The new terminal's main function is to handle loads in and out of Canada, ensuring they are cleared for entry and/or exit. Presently, four shuttle drivers use the terminal as a home base, running in and out of Canada daily.

The terminal provides a paved parking lot with approximately 40 spaces for empty and loaded trailers. There are also docks for off loading, if needed. The new terminal will also provide drivers access to shower facilities, coffee pot, microwave, parking spaces for personal vehicles and general information.

CalArk International is an irregular route, general commodities contract full truckload carrier serving customers in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
