KLLM Transport Services of Richland, Miss., has announced a new pay package that will go into effect on May 1, 2007, as a response to opinions from its driving force.

Under KLLM's new plan, a company driver can expect a starting pay of $.34 per mile, and teams can expect to start out at up to $.51 per mile. Owner-operators will also benefit from the changes and can expect to bring in $.92 per mile, plus paid reefer fuel.
Aside from the increases in pay rates, KLLM has a few other incentives that will help give drivers even more of an opportunity for success: tuition reimbursement for training school graduates; a $1,000 referral bonus; and a quarterly productivity bonus, currently paid out to an average of 38 percent of KLLM's drivers.
For more than 40 years, KLLM Transport Services has delivered perishable commodities and dry goods to its customers. KLLM offers over-the-road, regional and dedicated temperature-controlled and dry van services throughout the 48 contiguous states and Mexico. To learn more about KLLM, call (866) 874-5556 or visit
