Overnite Transportation is continuing expansion into the West with the opening of a new service center in Bakersfield, Calif.

The company's second new facility to open in as many months this year, the Bakersfield location is the 11th California site for Overnite, one of the nation's largest less-than-truckload carriers, and brings the company's overall network of service centers to 168.
Earlier this year, Overnite kicked off its Western expansion with the opening a service center in Benicia, Calif.
