New Penn Motor Express, Lebanon, Pa., has completed construction of a new facility in the Buffalo, N.Y., area.

The new facility serves greater Buffalo and portions of Western New York and Pennsylvania. The terminal also serves as a major gateway for freight to and from Ontario, Canada.
The new 55-door facility, situated on an 8-acre site, was made necessary by the growth the regional less-than-truckload carrier has experienced in the region during the past 15 years, and particularly to and from Canada. It replaces a 25-door facility on three nearby acres.
New Penn employs over 2,000 people and operates a fleet of over 800 tractors and 1,600 trailers. It is a subsidiary of Arnold Industries.
